La Pasta Taverna

This restaurant is a must when in Lake Como area. The service was top notch and the food was so fresh and so good! We asked our waiter (Vitorino) to play Dean Martin inside the restaurant speakers and he actually did it lol. But we were told Dean Martin is an American thing so they played authentic Italian music after and it was like a dream. You must try the meatballs and Bruschetta from the appetizer menu and for the main entree, any pasta is a must. Great place and it’s off the beaten path so it is not a tourist trap. Bathrooms were also clean and the air conditioning and atmosphere was amazing. We will be back.

I had the Fettuccine with truffle and butter - it was good, though it needed something more. It leaned toward the bitter side and lacked a salty or creamy element to balance the truffle.

Great place for pasta in Como. Warm atmosphere, very fast service, waiters speaks English well, can suggest and recommend. I tried pasta with meatballs, which was very delicious, recommend. Good prices, affordable.

We came here for our last evening in Como and had a great Italian meal. We enjoyed the Cacio e Pepe and Beef entrée. The restaurant is in a great location in the center of Como and the atmosphere was cozy and lively. We didn't have a reservation but were able to get a table before it filled up - definitely recommend booking ahead as it got busy quickly. The tables were very close together, so it felt like we were dining with the neighboring tables (which we didn't love). The bread was a little dry and it didn't come with olive oil or vinegar so we had to ask for it. The staff was attentive and friendly and overall it was lovely time.

Wonderful little spot with delicious pastas! Highly recommend. The location is super quaint down the alley. Eat outside and people watch.

We had a great dinner here. Loved the service and hospitality. Plenty of options for halal / vegetarian / pescatarian diets. Would definitely come back again.

An outstanding restaurant in the center of Como. The Chef’s specials were amazing, as we both ordered the pumpkin pasta dishes. The cheese & assorted meats as a starter were too just as good. The prices were too reasonable for the area and worth the taste. Would definetly come back!
